Swedish Red is committed to reducing the use of harmful chemicals in homes around the world. We only use natural products and work to remove toxic chemicals from homes. This helps to protect our environment and safeguard public health. Our climate work includes:

- Switching to greener products, with better packaging, and sourcing eco products from local sources

- Encouraging people to use less chemicals unnecessarily. The biocide industry is rife with misuse of dangerous, unnecessary chemicals

- Educating others about the importance of reducing chemicals in the home.

The biocide industry that we do belong to is one that is full of dangerous and unnecessary chemicals. We encourage people to use less chemicals unnecessarily. One typical example is the use of toxic pest sprays that are commonly used against everything from fur beetles to flies. Not only are these unnecessary as proper natural tools exist, but they also release dangerous chemicals into the air.

We also educate others about the importance of reducing chemicals in the home. We believe that everyone has a role to play in making their home environment healthier. Whether it’s using natural products, or simply being more conscious about the chemicals we use, every little bit helps. It is however a reality that the majority of pollution does not come from normal individuals, but every bit helps. We believe that knowledge is power and that by helping people reduce certain chemicals, we can make a difference.
